North London Shotokan Karate Club (NLSK) was founded in 1983. It's first club was in North London Crouch End, this soon expanded to other clubs in the surrounding area.

It's Chief Instructor is Sensei John De Bono (JDB) who is a 5th Dan in Shotokan Karate. He has been involved in karate for 36 years

Sensei John has also competed at the highest level and is a qualified England Referee.
