Jonathan Mottram, Commonwealth, European and English Kata Champion, paid a return visit to NLSK from his hectic schedule of tournaments and preparation for the two big championships coming up this year, with the World Championships in Japan.

Having just returned from Malta where he took two gold trophies. He conducted two classes, the first for all grades, where lower grades could participate, then followed by a higher grade Kata course that lasted 4 hours. The students learnt how to perfect their lower grade katas in the first session. Then after a very short break, in the second session, the students worked on kata Jiin and its Bunkai and how to improve their performance.
